Chocolate Nation

Chocolate Nation

Visitors with a sweet appetite will like this museum. The largest Belgian chocolate museum in the world, Chocolate Nation is situated just across from Antwerp’s Central Railway Station.

From the equatorial roots of the cocoa bean to the finished product—which, of course, you can enjoy to your heart’s content via samples and the museum shop—visitors are presented to every stage of the process through a multimedia presentation and interactive exhibits.

Along with the history of the confection’s developments in this and other nations, the museum also examines the unique place that chocolate holds in Belgian culture and customs.

Visitors can also join up for a chocolate workshop with take-home treats. Exhibits examine the various uses and presentations of chocolate.
