Discover what life was like in Old Dubai in the mid-nineteenth century at Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood. This district, located along Dubai Creek, is a key heritage site, with much of the original infrastructure preserved and intact. Traditional wind towers made of sandstone, teak, gypsum, palm wood, and sandalwood are only a part of Al Fahidi’s history. Each alley, twisting pathway, and swaying tower tells a tale of life before the seven emirates.
